As I sit here writing this, looking out at the Beartooth Mountains, I can't thank Rita Lovell (and Theresa) at Canyon Real Estate LLC in Cody, Wyoming for helping make my dream of owning a cabin in the mountains in NW Wyoming come true!
I had been window shopping for years, but had not pursued my dream until I saw a cabin Rita had listed on line. Being from the Midwest, and knowing how tough/stressful a real estate transaction can be (even when it is local), I was hesitant to make a call, not knowing the area, or exactly how I would manage the whole process remotely.
I took the chance, called Rita and we talked. From that phone call, the ball started rolling. Rita's expertise of not only the Real Estate industry and the market in Park County, WY, but her vast knowledge of the area, it’s history, and her network of personal and professional people that can help is second to none. She knows her stuff and her can do attitude make her easy to work with!! While I was in town, Rita spent as much time as I needed looking at properties, discussing options and just letting it all sink in. We looked at many, found my cabin (turned out not to be the one I originally called on), and wrote the contract while I was there. The rest was handled through e-mails, faxes and telephone conversations. There were stumbling blocks along the way that Rita just took in stride and we kept moving forward. If she was unavailable, Theresa took the call(s), and either knew the answer or where to get it. Amazing as it was, my next trip in was for settlement!
If anyone looking for property in NW Wyoming ever asks me whom to contact I will send them right to Rita – she is the best!
